Melody Figments

Melody Figments is a body of work that translates musical gesture into breathing, 3D visual webs. Created by tracking movement as music is performed, the webs are generative,building upon each linear expression and sonic moment.

The work invites the viewers and audience members into the music by offering a new relationship with every sound, rhythm and gesture.

The project was born from the desire to preserve the ephemeral, and to explore the impact and nuance of the human touch in a digital space.
